                  I chose the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 because I wanted a phone with a larger screen that could still fit in my pocket. I use the cover screen for quick messages, calls, and checking notifications. When I open the phone, the larger display is very useful for watching videos, gaming, studying, and doing schoolwork.                   the perfect phone. I have had every model year of the Z Flip and several of the Z Fold. The Z Fold 8 is the perfect marriage of the two, and I chose it to replace my everyday use of the Flip. Within the first day, it became clear I wasn't going back to the Flip, which surprised me. I rarely used the cover screen on the Flip, although I had all the tools to do so. With the Fold 8, I use the front screen a lot and don't feel the need to open it every time I use it. And critical factor is that it fits in my pocket, which was a downfall with the previous Folds - too cumbersome for carrying. All in all, it's pretty perfect and I'm glad I chose it.

Photos really don't do it justice in person. Delivery was another pleasant surprise — it arrived earlier than the scheduled date, which made the wait even more exciting. As for the phone itself, it's very easy to handle and fits perfectly in my hand. Despite being a foldable, it doesn't feel bulky or awkward at all — just smooth, comfortable, and well-balanced. Overall, a fantastic purchase. Highly recommend if you're considering the pistachio colorway!

                  I have been part of the Galaxy Z Fold family since the Fold 4. I have used the Fold 4, Fold 6, and now I’ve upgraded to the Z Fold 8 and I am genuinely amazed by the new form factor. The Z Fold 8 is incredibly slim and feels so much more comfortable to hold in the hand. The wider cover screen is also a major improvement, and it’s perfect for watching videos and everyday use without feeling cramped. I am really glad I chose the Z Fold 8. Samsung has once again impressed me with the Z Fold series. As always, the Z Fold never disappoints! Thank you, Samsung, for continuing to innovate and make the Fold series better with every generation

                  ​I chose this device after much consideration, and I have been using it for a couple of days now with great satisfaction. The overall design, weight, in-hand feel, and ergonomics are fantastic. Both the cover display and the unfolded main screen look amazing and offer an incredible viewing experience. ​If I had to point out a few minor drawbacks, the placement of the heat dissipation feels a bit noticeable during heavy use, and I occasionally experience slight stuttering on a few specific apps. However, these are minor details compared to how good the rest of the phone is. Overall, it is an outstanding device and I highly recommend it.

                  I choose the zfold 8 because of the new form factor. It is much better tailored for viewing videos and twitch streams. Most features of the phone are an upgrade from my zfold 5, especially the amazing speakers, however, 2 of the main hiccups for me have been tbe RCS chat transfer (when transferring Esim, you wont be able to text anymore unless you do a very long winded process that doesnt always work) and the lack of the camera notch pixels that previously hid the inner camera. Im not sure why the inner screen needs a camera, it majorly discracts from full screen gaming and videos. I can get used to it though.

                  The new Fold 8 (wide) is a great new phone in regards to the external screen and internal folding screen. My only negative thought is no 200 megapixel main sensor and no telephoto lens, very disappointing on such a high end phone with such a high cost. As you will learn due to the Fold 8's high volume of sales, many people like larger phones but not necessarily folding ones. I suggest Samsung consider making a larger nonfolding phone, similar to the width of the Fold 8's external screen but also taller. Bring back the old Samsung Mega branding or call it the Samsung Titan. Again, their is a large market for larger phones especially in this day and age.

                  "I chose" "love" the Samsung Fold 8. I have the Fold 7, and I upgraded to this phone because of its new design, which is wider and shorter. It's very convenient for carrying in my pocket. The outer screen is a good size with great resolution and good connection. I love the body of the phone. I went with the pistachio and love it. I would love it more if they had offered the Fold 8 in violet shadow. Unfolded, it's perfect for social media and video streaming—no more huge black bars when watching a movie, very thin when unfolded and not heavy. Love the super-fast charge. Overall, loving the phone. Definitely recommended.

                  This is my 4th device in the Z fold lineup. They are great devices and have come a long way. I chose to go with the Z Fold 8 over the Z Fold 8 Ultra because I wanted to try out the new format. I always felt the front screen was too thin and the interior screen was the wrong aspect ratio. Samsung nailed it on the Z fold 8. Nice width on the front screen, yes it’s a little shorter but so far that has been fine. The inside screen is a perfect size and aspect ratio. To me this is the first device that is a phone to tablet all in one! Oh and it’s amazing how thin they are now too.

                  I chose the galaxy z fold 8 and I don't regret it one bit. The keyboard is nice and wide making it hard to type incorrectly. When opened the screen is amazing! Watching Netflix and YouTube on this is seriously impressive. When I want to play games I open it up and now I have a tablet, it really blew my expectations out of the water. I really like that the finger print reader is in the power button it makes more sense to have it there. This phone is way louder than my s26 was. The compact size of this phone when closed should be the new standard, it just feels more natural. I dont see myself ever going back to a candy bar shaped phone ever again.

                  While it took a brief adjustment period to get used to the shorter height, I chose this device because it delivers easily the best form factor available. It's wonderfully compact when folded, but unfolding it into a mini tablet completely changes the experience. Videos look fantastic on the inner display, and the anti-reflective screen coating makes a massive difference for visibility. The upgraded faster charging is a welcome quality-of-life improvement, and the cameras are completely sufficient for everyday photos. Most of all, it brought back that genuine sense of excitement for mobile technology that smartphones have lacked for a long time.

                  I just received this phone last night. Right out out the box it feels like a completely different phone. Not only is the big screen great but transferring all my data from the previous phone to this one was incredibly easy. I had zero issues transferring all my apps, contacts and now from my old phone without having to install any apps. The screen brightness is amazing. Videos on this phone look great with vivid colors. If it's like having 3 phones in one because you can easily have 3 different apps running on your outside screen and your large screen at the same time. I realize the price is steep but it is well worth it. Since it is a phone and a tablet in one device it will save me from having to pack two things instead when I travel. I highly recommended it.

                  I chose the Galaxy Z Fold8 because I wanted a phone that could handle everyday tasks while also giving me more screen space when I need it. I use it throughout the day for messaging, browsing, watching videos, managing emails, and staying organized. The larger unfolded display makes multitasking much more comfortable, especially when I want to use two apps without constantly switching between them. When folded, it still works well for quickly checking notifications and handling regular phone tasks. The Fold8 has made my daily routine more convenient and enjoyable, and it feels like having both a phone and a small tablet in one device.

                  I chose the new Fold 8 to try the new size, but I am disappointed by the losses on the camera quality starting around 20ft away. In addition, the half folds (L shape) or tent fold (A Shape), don't seem to work that well. It actually measure up well next to my Fold 3, so I turn it long ways to type better, as the wide screen makes the keyboard too long for me. I also miss the full size of the cover screen. It severely displaced my home screen and spit the icons up weirdly over the other panels. Like the left over icons from panel 1, didn't simply get pushed to panel 2? I want to see if I can switch to the Fold 8 Ultra.

                  I chose this phone for it's reinvented design. I previously owned the Galaxy fold 7 but when I hear this year they were coming with a smaller but wider phone, I new I just had to have it. The phone is very light and does not weigh down my pocket. Also it is short enough to fit in my pants without sticking out through the top of the pocket. I use this phone heavily for watching entertainment such as movies, TV shows & music. The aspect ratios on most videos are like 16:9, so with this phone, a lot of my videos fill out a lot of the screen.

                  I chose the Galaxy Z Fold8 because of the new form factor. I had the Flip's, from the Flip2 to the Flip5, because I missed having a compact phone, but the Fold (now "Fold Ultra") was always glaring at me in the distance, judging like a Shiba Inu, as if saying "You'll never get this! You'll never get this! La-la-la" but it was just too large and heavy. Fast forward to the Fold8, the perfect "happy medium," that "just right" bowl of porridge that I couldn't pass up, and... Wow! I'm glad that I chose to upgrade to the Z Fold8 now. Today, Samsung, I break the cage, "I get this!" and I high-five you. The bigger battery is very nice!

                  I chose this product because it has a lot of features to use. What I like most is that I don't have to be opening it to do stuff. I open it mostly to play games or reading. I was planning to buy a kindle now with the fold 8 I don't have to I could read my books here. I love the texting on the out side don't have to open for that. The galaxy fold 8 is not heavy I could put in my pocket without any issues. I bought all the flips from Samsung because they are easy to carry, but this year went with the galaxy fold 8. It has everything I wanted in a phone. Thanks Samsung 😊

                  So far I love the size of this screen and ability to view multiple pages at the same time. It is great for me because I do a lot of work on their phone. The issue I have is how fast it heats up. I had 2 app running on both screen and in less than 20 mins it gave me over heating message. I did update the software as advised, but still feel that it still heats up pretty fast. I took off the thin Samsung case to let it cool down too. I have not tried opening 2 apps on screen since the update. It feel a little warm even with just one app running but not as bad. I guess I will see if this will be my one and only fold phones.

                  I'm loving my decision! I chose the Z Fold 8 due to it's uniqueness and the endless ability to customize the phone. There's not another phone on the market like this one. I love being able to use the phone from the basics of texting or making a call to scrolling and creating documents for work. The amazingly unfolding of the phone without the distraction of a crease leaves me in awe everytime. I switched from the Z Flip 7 to the Z Fold 8 without a single regret! :)

                  I chose the new Galaxy Z Fold 8 primarily because I needed a smaller phone to fit in my uniform pocket but still had times I needed a larger screen. The Fold 8 does more than fit the bill. I have found that it responds to inputs and requests quickly and the volume is sufficiently loud. I no longer have to worry about the S Pen falling out as it frequently did on my 25 Ultra. I greatly enjoy the folding feature when I am ready either important emails or documents or relaxing with a book from apps. Once it's time to go to work the phone folds down to an easily manageable small size. Overall great job Samsung

                  I chose the new Samsung Z Fold 8 for one reason and that is I needed as I get older and my sight gets older I needed something bigger but still pocket size and do a lot of things without opening my phone and this phone has it, it meets all the requirements I need. And as a 25+ years Samsung product owner I love their phones. My previous phones were the Flips and they were perfect I would've went with the Flip 8 but again my eyesight well let's just say I needed a little bigger screen but not too big, and it's still comfortable for 1 hand use.

                  I have wanted a Z Fold for years, but I never liked the huge bulky ones. I have waited for the Z-Fold wide patiently for a long time. First new phone I have bought in 8 years. It's perfect. Folded it's like using the old school Blackberry. Unfolded it's like kindle. Then dock it when I get home and it becomes my computer. I no longer need three different device's for school, work, and personal use. For buisness applications like office and Google docs it's preferred in unfolded and Dex. Docked or on the go. For reading my e-books and comics all modes are great. Only thing I am not familiar with is gaming because I don't game on my phone. Media like videos and films is exceptional. The only thing keeping me from having to have a laptop or desktop is CaC card support because for somereason Android doesn't have a work around yet.

                  I've been using my Fold 8 for a few days now and I have to say it's the best foldable on the market currently. It's the best form factor. Slim and lightweight, fits in your pocket without issue, and unfolds into a mini tablet perfect for consumption. Whether it's videos, music, social media, web-browsing, it's the perfect device. The battery is long-lasting, and the display is vibrant. I can catch up on my latest shows on the move. I chose this device because it brings forth innovation, it shows what Samsung has always been about. Pushing boundaries. Can't wait for the next Fold. You better believe I'll be there.

                  I chose the Z Fold 8 because I am a big fan of the Fold series. However, the phone always seemed really long. So when this version was created, I was super excited because I am a media consumer, and the aspect ratio that you get when you open the phone is truly amazing. I find myself operating on the phone with it closed mostly, and then I'm able to open it for entertainment, which is perfect. It's very lightweight, and I love the faster charging. The only gripe that I have is that the icons rotate and rearrange when you have the phone open and you switch to vertical mode. But other than that, the phone is great.

                  My previous phone was the Galaxy Z Fold 7 which I loved, but I chose to try the new passport-like form factor with with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and so far I am loving it. It is a bit smaller in total screen size but the new form instantly clicked for my normal phone use, which is primarily video watching and some light mobile gaming. Also with the 7 I found myself immediately rotating the device sideways to get the widest screen possible, whereas with the 8 you are already at the widest possible immediately upon unfolding. I appreciate the lighter weight and I'm also finding the cover screen much more usable than the 7 and a better fit in both my front and back pocket. Recommended.

                  My first fold phone, while being with samsung for years. I chose the z fold 8 because of it size. It was the first damsung fold that really caught my attention. Might have to get used to the camera since going from a s24 ultra to it, but really excited to see how I like it.

                  Even though I already had the s26 ultra, the moment I saw the Fold 8's form factor, I felt that I had to have the phone!!! Now that I've had the phone for several days, my gut feeling has been affirmed. It's an awesome phone for my daily needs, which involve browsing, gaming, reading, and multi-tasking. I love the portable form factor of the phone and the fact that the cover screen is more than enough to do pretty much anything. When it's not, you can seamlessly transfer to the larger, inner display. I love using multiple apps side by side on the inner display, and I hope more apps optimize to fit the Fold 8's aspect ratio soon. I haven't been able to put my phone down for a while, and that means something coming from someone who has a tablet, PC, and e-reader on hand. I keep reaching for the Fold 8 instead!

                  I chose this phone as a replacement to my fold 7 due to the MUCH BETTER form factor which allows you to not have to open the phone so much when using. Because of the wider out screen and the shorter length this phone is perfect as a daily driver. Samsung has been quite stubborn in the long and slimcandy bar style shape foldable which was rendering the outer screen useless as it was too difficult to type on due to the slim form factor. But NOW, the Fold 8 has followed the Pixel fold form factor and voila! It's a powerhouse as the software has always been superb, but now the wider shape allows me to use this without frustration. Kudos to Samsung for finally listening. This phone will dominate the market.

                  I chose this phone because I love galaxy and it's products. This is a great phone for me to use for running my business (restaurant) I can access multiple apps or files simultaneously if I can't get to my office PC. I also love the samsung Dex feature on all galaxy phones because I have PC access on any monitor that I can plug into. This is great for work. The new wide fold is great for watching any type of video, i use it more than my samsung tablet because of convenience. Im glad I chelose this phone!

And when I need to review PDFs or work on documents either through MS Office or Google Workspace. I have a nice immersive 7.6 inch inner display to work on. I've also connected my mouse and keyboard to it. Truly a universal work from anywhere phone

                  After watching the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event and seeing the new Z Fold 8, it was a no-brainer. I chose to upgrade from my Z Fold 5, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I thought that the Fold 5 was the best phone I had ever owned, but the Fold 8 quickly surpassed it. So easy to set up and transfer from my old phone. The folded size is brilliant, providing a smaller (but still spacious) area, but I still have the option to unfold the phone and utilize the HUGE landscape display. So much easier to use apps side-by-side. This phone really has it all. Absolutely thrilled with my purchase.

                  I’ve had other foldable phones before, but the Fold 8 is the first one that really feels like something I want to use every day. It also makes using a phone exciting again. The size is probably my favorite thing about it. It’s easy to carry, comfortable to hold, and when you open it up you get that big screen without feeling like you’re carrying a brick around all day. I also didn’t expect to love typing on it as much as I do. The wider design just feels right, and I find myself using the inner screen for everything from messages and email to browsing and social media. If I could change anything, I wish Samsung gave it the same cameras and higher-end specs as the Ultra. The camera isn't bad at all, but I love my S26 Ultra camera and specs. In my personal opinion, I’d also actually like it to be just a little thicker. I know everyone wants phones thinner, but I wouldn’t mind a little extra thickness if it meant a bigger battery, better cameras, or even more durability. Overall, I just really enjoy using this phone. It’s fun, it’s different, it’s practical, and it feels like Samsung is getting very close to making the foldable I’ve always wanted. I am so glad I chose to get it, I was on the fence but now I can't put it down. I would recommend this phone 100%!!!!!!! It feels a little odd when you first use it but in less than 24 hours, it hits you how amazing it is. The battery life is pretty great as well! Thanks Samsung! I love it! Works great with my new Watch Ultra 2!

                  After years of using the previous z fold series (up to 7), I really wanted a new design on the fold. That is why I chose the z fold 8 for its new (at least to the Samsung lineup) passport shaped fold. I have owned it for a few days only but I am already loving it much more than my previous folds. The front screen is much shorter but is easier to use due to its wider screen. Typing and viewing content is much more enjoyable. Additionally, unfolding it is also much more enjoyable due to its aspect ratio. At least for the apps I use, the content feels like it fills up the screen more than the previous folds. Unfortunately, the camera is a downgrade but it's still good enough for my needs.

                  the main reason I choose the z fold 8 is really the new form factor. the older folds were too skinny but samsung got it right this time with a wider design. the 5.5 inch cover screen feels like a normal phone, so texting one handed is way better. when you open it, the 7.6 inch screen is amazing for multitasking or playing games. it's crazy light at just 201 grams so it doesn't weigh my pocket down. plus the screen is super bright outside. the cameras aren't a huge upgrade but the new 50mp ultrawide takes solid pictures. the 4800mah battery easily lasts me all day. I just put a clear case on it to protect it without ruining that super thin 4.5mm profile. honestly I think I made the right call going with this one.

                  Upgraded from Z Flip. I chose the Samsung Galaxy Fold 8 because of the inner screen's aspect ratio is great compared to the Fold 8 Ultra, and the outside / cover screen is not too long like the other foldables. Compared to the Z Flip, the cover screen is a lot more usable while still not too big. If you area Z Flip owner wish you have a more functional cover screen, this is your answer.

The new one is precisely the right size and I find in using it more, both folded and unfolded. It's fun, it's good-looking, it feels all future-y, too!                   I chose to upgrade from the fold7 because of the new passport style design. Even while doing the transfer between old and new device, the fold8 felt very natural and fold7 quickly felt uncomfortable to use, so I won't go back to using a non-folding phone but also probably going to stick with the passport style as well, it feels amazing.                   I've had many foldable phones since the Fold 4 and even Motorola folding phones. The Fold 8 is finally the perfect blend of performance and pockatqble size. Also Samsung One UI 9.0 is so stable and feature rich, on pair with iOS. I choose the Ultra2 Watch and Galaxy Pro 4 Buds too for the complete experience.

                  I chose to upgrade my flip 6 to the new Fold 8 because I find myself using my mobile for more than content creation. A big part is office work on the go including Teams, Outlook and CRM activities. With its new form factor it's easy to run a meeting and then do my email follow ups. Using social media apps are a breeze and the expanded display is vivid and smooth visually. The camera works great and the pictures are are crisp looking even in lower light. I love how the front screen is super useful and can run apps, get notifications without having to open the full phone. So far it's a great phone. The future of mobility is here and it's brought to you by Samsung.

                  I have only possessed my device for 48 hrs so this is still the honeymoon phase for me. I am honestly shocked at the build quality of the Z Fold 8. It is amazing. I feel that way every time I pick it up, unfold it, fold it...etc. Bizarre to be so enamored with a phone, but it is what it is. Muscle memory made the switch from the Fold 7 a lot harder than I had anticipated. Harder, but worth the transition. I love the form factor. The form factor, coupled with the build quality, make this device a no brainer. The software and specs are the usual top notch Samsung throws out with new releases. Thank you, Samsung. To wrap up my quick review, Standing Ovation, Samsung. Love my new Z Fold 8

                  I had the original pixel fold, which I think had the best form factor out of any phones I've used. But that was years ago. Anyways had the fold 7, beautiful phone, but you'd literally get maybe .5 inch extra to view videos on the big screen. I chose the fat fold 8 this time and am so happy. I've used this phones inside screen more in the last week then I did on the fold 7 in the last 6 months. Some issues I gripe with is it doesn't have flex mode and the camera got bumped down. Also some apps do NOT work well on front screen. However it is still much more usable for me. Also Samsung went so cheap this time. No storage upgrade, complicated bonus discount that literally removed itself from my cart.

                  I've been using Samsung's Z Flip series since the Z Flip 3, all the way through the Z Flip 7. I've always liked the Z Fold lineup, but it was just too big for my hand and pocket. Reaching the notification bar with one hand was always a struggle. When Samsung released the passport-sized Z Fold 8, I was all in. I got mine on 8/4/26, and I absolutely love it! It's the perfect size for one-handed use, fits comfortably in my front pocket, and finally gives me the Fold experience I've been waiting for. Thank you, Samsung, for making a smaller Z Fold. You definitely gained a happy customer!

                  I chose to upgrade to the Z Fold 8 instead of the Ultra for a couple reasons. I liked the smaller design when closed, but what really I caught my attention was the wide format when opened. It is lighter and sits easier in my hand. The AI feature for pictures is top notch.

                  I am a Samsung fan and have been using their phones for years. I recently went from the Z Flip 7 to the Z Fold 8. I chose this model because I believe it sits perfectly between the Flip and Ultra versions. Having a mini tablet in my pocket is outstanding for media consumption. Listening to Spotify has been wonderful. The speakers have exceeded my expectations. Cameras work well for my needs and I have zero complaints. Muscle memory in terms of operating this new passport style is the only learning curve. Amazing technology!!!

                  I chose the fold 8 as I didn't want the privacy screen feature on the 26 ultra. I'm upgrading from the 24 ultra and I've never had a flip or fold and wasn't sure what to expect but so far so good. I'm using the outer screen a lot more than I thought I would as the wider screen is actually super useful for what I mostly use my phone for which is reading books, browsing the web, and playing mindless games with friends. I occasionally use the larger inner screen but honestly not asuch as I thought I might. That might change in the future as I've only had the phone a few days but the outer screen is like 90% perfect for what I need. If they made the galaxy s ultra 27 a bar phone, a little shorter than it currently is, and the width of the fold 8,that's probably make me upgrade right away just because of the other ultra features that the fold 8 doesn't have.

                  I chose to upgrade from the z fold 7 to the z fold 8, mostly it was the new form factor that attracted my attention. I was a little skeptical at first as to how I would feel about it, but after only having it for a day so far, I am already IN LOVE WITH THIS PHONE! The new form factor is perfect for having a nice and compact device when i just need basic functionality and yet still having the larger inner display when i want it. I have larger hands so I can perfectly reach the whole front screen and it's amazingly comfy to hold. So glad I took a chance and tried it out!

                  So finally one of the big brands come out with a phone that is small in the pocket but is Big when you need it. I've been waiting for so long for a smaller phone just really tired of the big phones that's why I chose the standard Galaxy fold 8. I haven't tried the cameras yet but I will this coming weekend at a concert so we'll see how that goes but other than that everything else about this phone is amazing.

                  I've owned all Samsung Z fold devices. Big screen and premium feel of the phone sold my attention. I liked everything about it except it being heavy weight and showing crease in the middle of screen. This year, I was debating between Fold 8 ultra and Fold 8, and I chose Fold 8. I am so glad that I did. I watch youtube very often, and Wide screen on Fold 8 provides me with best experience. Fold 8 is no longer heavy as previous model, and doesn't show much crease as well. I highly recommend.

                  I have owned every Samsung Z Fold since the Z Fold2 (I skipped the Z Fold 5). I recently traded in my Z Fold7 for the new Z Fold8, and the new folding phone is nearly perfect for me. It is smaller, lighter, and easier to use. The large inner screen is just the right size for me. I don't miss the telephoto lens or the S-Pen. I'm not much of a photographer, and back in my Samsung Note days I rarely used the S-Pen

As a college student studying Youth Development Programming and working as a Paraeducator, I am constantly juggling coursework, schedules, and daily tasks. Having that large main display lets me split-screen documents, keep track of plans, and manage my day effortlessly without feeling cramped. Outside of work and school, coaching basketball and staying active keeps me on the move, so having a device that transitions so easily from productivity to streaming and handheld gaming on the go is huge. The hardware quality is top tier, making it a complete upgrade for both my daily routines and my downtime.

                  The main reason I chose the new Galaxy Fold 8 because of the big change in size. I couldn't be happier. My Galaxy Fold 6 was a great phone but with a case it was bulky and heavy. The Fold 8 is fabulous. It is so light and I love the new size. Its a bit of an adjustment but one I am happy to make. There are a few quirks with the screen (with different apps) that I'm getting used to but I am so glad I chose to go ahead and splurge on this phone. I love the speed and responsiveness. I've only had it a couple days and between kids and work haven't gotten alot of time to try all the features. But that's my plan for the weekend. If you are on the fence, I encourage the purchase. Its definitely worth it.

                  I have been a foldable fan since the original flip was sold and I still love foldable phones. However, Samsung have hit a home run with the Fold 8. The phone just looks good without even exploring its capabilities. The front screen is the perfect and fo most things without unfolding. The phone is very light even with added cover. I normally use my fold for videos and reading while commuting to work. Opening the phone is a fantastic experience, but the best feature is watching videos. I am finding myself watching videos unfold. The phone uses every inch of real estate.

                  The new form factor is a blessing for those with larger hands that have a hard time texting on the previous fold devices. It is definitely an adjustment, but I am slowly enjoying the size and utilizing the various apps and watching of videos. I suspect the industry will slowly catch up with changing formatting of data on apps to support this size. I notice some oddities with apps, but again, I think those will clear up as the phone is introduced into the population and becomes more used. I am coming from the Z Fold 6, and this phone is a fresh update on that format.

                  I chose this upgrade to the Fold 8 because I was interested in the new form factor due to how cramped the cover screen of the Fold 6 felt for daily usage. I will say this was an immediate and very noticeable improvement and I actually prefer the wider format for my use case as a fun portable phone with a big screen experience, the lack of telephoto camera doesn't bother me too much since I prefer to carry my actual camera if I plan to get true higher end quality that only a true camera like a mirrorless could provide anyway. Time will tell so far if battery has made a noticeable improvement.

                  I've always thought the Z Fold series was laking in a few areas, such as front screen size. Always a litle too small to be really usefull. Well, the new Z Fold8 has addressed that problem with its more 4:3 aspevt ratio that also allows for a more enjoyable viewing experience with the native landscape orientation. All this and the phone is still thinner and has a larger battery capacity than my previous Z Fold6. Looking forward to putting this phone through its paces to discover if it can stand the test of time. If it all works out, Samsung has a real winner on their hands.

                  I have had the Samsung Flip phones for years. When I saw the size of the Samsung Fold 8, I chose to give it a try because it would give me the option of having a bigger screen, if needed, without opening the phone all the time. I am so glad I upgraded to the Fold 8! The size is just perfect when folded. I am able to do EVERYTHING I want and need in the small screen. I work in education, so I know the big screen will come in handy when viewing document and spreadsheets. I have no complains and I am loving my phone so far.

                  I have had each and every Fold model since Samsung started with them. I have been very pleased with each of them, but this time I went with the Fold 8 instead. A smaller package that is as powerful as the Fold Ultra but just smaller. Easier to carry, but lacking only a few things. No hinge to work with to set it up like the Ultra and smaller icons. BUT I'd buy the Fold 8 again!!!

                  I chose the z fold 8 because it was a refreshing new take on form factor that we haven't seen in US manufacturers in years. I love the fact that the external screen gives the the smaller form factor I enjoy but pairs it with a great use of folding screen tech to unveil a larger than normal screen inside. It gives me the joy of a small phone, the utility of a larger phone and reduces the downsides of both. I'm already loving getting deeper into the software to customize things exactly how I like and for the first time I'm excited to see what might be in the future.

                  I chose the new Galaxy Z Fold8 after being a long time Fold and Flip user, and this is the best combination of both worlds so far. Closed, it fits in your palm like a passport, easy to carry all day. Opened, it turns into a full tablet, great for work and travel. It is lighter and slimmer than previous models, which makes a big difference when you are using it for hours. The camera is excellent and handles everything from quick shots to detailed work photos with ease. Overall this is a huge step up and the best Fold experience yet.

                  I have been waiting for an American based company to make this form factor for quite some time I chose the Galaxy z fold 8 specifically for this reason already owning a z-fold 7. I'm a big Samsung fan have many of their products and I just could not be happier with this after receiving it yesterday I am still raw and about 24 hours in to owning the phone and just cannot wait to test run this even more with a follow-up review for now I am beyond satisfied and excited which is not something you can say a lot in this day and age

                  This phone is so fantastic. Samsung did a really good job with the overall build, feature and size. The new user interface is buttery smooth and so well polished. Overall a wonderful phone that feels like a whole new experience in mobile technology

                  I chose the Fold 8 because of the size and shape of the screen. When closed it's wider than the previous fold 7 cover screen and easy to read because the fold 8 screen is wider. I don't need my glasses to read it. I don't need to open it as often either. Though the inside screen is beautiful and using it open is great for email or social media. Advise you go to a store and look at it in person. For me the choice is clear and so are the screens.

                  I chose the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 because I wanted a device that could handle both work and entertainment without compromise. The large foldable display makes it easy to multitask, whether I'm answering emails, browsing the web, or using multiple apps side by side. I also use my Z Fold8 for streaming movies and TV shows, gaming, and staying connected with friends and family.                   I'm a Z fold 7 owner and I've decided to try out this new screen ratio. I chose Z fold 8 because I want wider front screen when folded and a bigger screen when unfolded for watching Youtube. It just fits my needs perfectly. I like surfing the web while watching a Youtube video but if I split my screen with z fold 7, both windows would be too narrow. With z fold 8, it is PERFECT for using 2 windows side by side. Only one caveat is that there is no credit card wallet that would fit the phone and this is why I'm giving it a 4 star instead of 5 stars

                  Last year I debated getting a foldable phone, but decided not to for the time being. Now I am so glad I waited! The new Galaxy Z Fold 8 was the phone I didn't know I wanted until I saw it. As soon as I saw the form factor, I knew it was "the one." It does not disappoint! I chose to preorder it because I didn't want to wait any longer than necessary. It is lighting fast, really good battery life and I love the wide screen on the front and even wider one on the inside. I am looking forward to many happy times together with my new Galaxy Z Fold 8!

                  I chose the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 because of it's sleek design, bright displays, and excellent multitasking features. It feels faster, more refined, and more durable than previous models, making it great for productivity and entertainment. The only downsides are its premium price and the lack of a dedicated telephoto camera. Overall, it’s one of the best foldable phones available and a great choice if you want a phone and tablet all in one. I’m happy that I chose the BEST foldable yet.

                  The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8’s new wider shape finally kills off that awkward narrow front screen, so typing out quick texts actually feels normal. Opening it up gives you a massive, tablet-sized display that makes split-screen apps and watching videos way less cramped. It’s light enough that your wrist won’t hate you after holding it for a few minutes, and the crease in the middle is practically invisible now. You do lose the extra zoom camera lens to keep it this thin, but the trade-off is 100% worth it for a phone that’s actually fun to use every day.

                  My first fold phone, while being with samsung for years. I chose the z fold 8 because of it size. It was the first damsung fold that really caught my attention. Might have to get used to the camera since going from a s24 ultra to it, but really excited to see how I like it.

                  I chose to upgrade to the Z Fold8 from the Z Fold6 because I didn't use the main screen enough. Most of that was to do with the shape of the screen. A square wasn't really usable for many scenarios. Now with the 4:3 main screen, I find myself opening the phone a lot more than I ever did on the Fold6, whether it's to watch YouTube videos, scroll on a browser, or see larger images. The cover screen is also a really nice aspect ratio. It's great for 16:9 videos as well as looking at 2:3 photos I take on my mirrorless camera. The battery life has also been a big upgrade. I usually found myself in the 20-30% range by the end of the day on the Z Fold6, while on the Z Fold8, I've been mostly in the 40s by the end of the day. The thickness of the phone is something I'm still impressed by. It's comparable to lots of normal phones when folded, and when it's unfolded, it feels like it shouldn't be possible to have something this thin. If it weren't for the form factor of the Z Fold6, I would've held onto that for much longer. Now with the Z Fold8, I expect to hold onto this for many years and feel no need to get something different.

                  The Galaxy Z Fold8 is an outstanding foldable phone. It’s thinner, lighter, and more comfortable to hold than previous models. The large inner display is bright and beautiful, making multitasking, watching videos, and working much more enjoyable. Performance is fast and smooth, the battery easily lasts all day, and the camera takes excellent photos. Galaxy AI features are also very useful and improve my daily productivity. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the Z Fold8 and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium foldable smartphone.

                  I chose the Fold 8 first and foremost for the form factor. The cover screen ration is perfect and I've been waiting for another phone to use this form factor for years. Samsung knocked it out of the park and brought their highly polished and extremely customizable experience along with them. I was sold the minute I saw the Fold 8. I've been playing with the device all day and I am very impressed. I can see myself using this one for a very long time to come and it makes me feel something no other modern phones have. Cannot wait to see how content and apps evolve to take advantage of this phone!

                  I chose the Z fold 8 because wide is the best form factor. Samsung has perfected what the surface duo and pixel fold started. You get the best size shape and weight with all the benefits of Samsungs software and hardware. Typing and split screening are seriously benefitted by this design. My favorite phone ever.

                  Really amazing! I've had the flip z 3 and the flip z 6 but never used the cover screen bc tik tok was too crowded, only used it to watch movies on. That's why I got the fold z 8 and omg it's everything! The cover screen is the perfect size, I'm able to watch movies comfortably on it and opening it is even better. I'm not one to use tablets, I had the iPad back in high school, but never really used it so I wasn't sure if I was going to use it while it's open, but with it open I can read mangas and scroll through tik tok at the same time, and it's so comfortable to use. The battery is even better, yesterday I used all day at the pool and it lasted from 8am-10pm. It's seems like it loses 5% every hour. I also dropped it on the ground yesterday 😅, but it's fine. I'm kinda scared of doing anything bad to it considering it's my first fold. The main reason I get anything samsung is the customization, and it's exceeded my expectations. Great phone!

                  I am very pleased with the Z Fold 8 form and functionality. This is my 4th foldable from Samsung. While I have foldables from at least 2 other brands but I chose to return to Samsung as the quality of the phone and polish of One UI make a huge difference. This phone is an excellent tool for both content consumption and multitasking. Glad to see the company offering more options in the foldable field.

                  I have been extremely happy with the new Z Fold 8. I chose this model because I tried the Z. Fold y and didn' like the proportions. I also had the Z Flip 7 and although I really liked it the front cover couldn't do enough for me. I read a lot of books and wanted a screen big enough that I wouldn't need my Kindle or Kobo readers. This is perfect. I actually enjoy reading on the front screen and social media works very well also. I don't like big cases so a very thin Aramid case keeps the phone very sleek and sexy. Having never been a big camera guy, I think what's in the phone is fine although I have learned some new tricks from watching reviews on YouTube. Overall I think Samsung knocked this one out of the park.

                  I chose this phone so that I could have the tablet experience with my phone and still having the phone fit into my pocket. I loved my z flip 5 for the reason of being a pocket phone and closing it to hang up on people, but I grew to missing having a big screen as well. I play on my phone and watch movies and shows at work and got tired of lugging my iPad around to do so and wasn't very discreet. This phone just solved that all in one. The multitasking on here is great too. Good for my small business. Love my fold!

                  Absolutely revolutionary device with Samsung pushing the boundaries of what's possible. They experimented with a new form factor that's unreal! The battery is fantastic, the device feels ultra premium, the screen is ultra high quality. Switching to Android from iOS has improved even more with all the Samsung tools included. The AI tools installed on the device make great use of what's possible with AI and makes the software experience a joy to use. If you're having second thoughts - dont! This device is worth every penny at every price point!

                  This phone is exactly what it needs to be, packs a punch, small, effective and versatile for everyday use. The battery life is fantastic and absolute monster. Gorgeous display both screens, since I got it it was enough for me to do work on the go, read papers as well. If you are healthcare provider who enjoys reading articles, books and doing notes this phone is absolutely perfect. This form factor size and ratio should definitely go for long run.
